S4 History​

​​Ira Snell, III, founded Snell Enterprises, Inc. (SEI) in 1990 to address what he found to be an opportunity in the business community.  After 24 years of running SEI, a small minority-owned business, that specialized in Web Development, Information Assurance, Systems Administration, and Call Center/Help Desk Operations.  Mr. Snell had guided SEI from its humble beginnings with one employee, through graduation of the 8(a) program, Department of Defense (DOD) and other federal government contracts, DOD facility and personnel security clearances, culminating in a 24-year history of past performance, over $10 million dollars of contract revenue, up to 50 employees, and a host of IT-services.  In 2013, SEI was acquired by S4 Analytics, LLC., a Minority-owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB) firm, specializing in Cyber Security Solutions in the DoD/Intelligence marketplace.  Mr. Snell assumed the position of Chief Operating Officer integrating his 24 years of experience, with the strategic positioning of S4's vast partnership network and customer base.   

The acquisition positioned S4 Analytics for growth through offering its DOD and Intelligence Community a full portfolio of relevant Cyber Security solutions that include, but not limited to:  IT-Program Management, Cloud Security, Information Assurance, Systems Administration, Call Center/Help Desk Support Services, IT-Facilities Renovation, and Mission Critical Infrastructure.​  S4 Analytics has staff comprised of highly innovative management and technical consultants who work hand in hand with our customers allowing for streamlined communications and efficient knowledge management. S4 Analytics personnel hold clearances at various levels.  S4 is strategically positioned, along with our partners, to provide the latest and  most innovative technical solutions to our federal customers; in particular DoD  and the Intelligence Community.
